Arnold Classic 2008

Victor Martinez is heading into 2008 with the 2nd largest prize in the business and wishes to make it number two. 2007 has been an interesting year for the sport of bodybuilding. We have had a number of new and old pro's make it to the top etchelon of the Sport out of no where. In the begining of 2007 Toney Freeman, David Henry and Branch Warren where all the rage, as the year has progressed these bodybuilders haven't in the way many of the critics had thought that they would. Mr. Olympia took an even wider swing than most had thought, we imagined immortal Jay to come to the stage with an overwhelming package like he has had year after year. Instead we where left with a flat, diet ravenged Champion repaid with  the sympathy of the Judges who felt he deserved another Sandow from the Pre Biased Coleman Era for so many years. So will this be the year for new blood to take over and dominate? Or will we see a repeat of last year with 40% of the athletes starting out of the blocks with so much steam that their trains run out 200 miles before Las Vegas. This Arnold Classic will be one for the ages, a consulation prize, if you will, to the Athletes who were again over looked at our top show Mr. Popularity.
